How to fix

Match the way the rest of the document writes it.

Why it matters

An ellipsis written as "..." in some places and "…" in others makes the reader wonder whether the difference means something, and makes the document look pasted together; a search finds only one kind. chaff does not pick a side; it points at the way the document uses less.

What it does not flag

Code is not read. A longer run of dots ("....") is not counted, since its form is unclear. When the less common way is over a third, or the two are equally common, the document is read as using both on purpose.

Turning it off or relaxing it

Silence this one spot (in the document)
<!-- stet: ellipsis-consistency — reason -->
Relax it for the team (the reason is kept as a comment in chaff.yaml)
npx chaffjs relax ellipsis-consistency --why "reason"
Turn it off for the team (chaff.yaml)

Rewrite depth (chaff fix-plan --depth): light — words and sentences; the structure and the voice stay
