A single 〜たり with no partner
tari-unpairedon by default (info)Japanese
A Japanese 〜たり used once and followed by another clause, so its pair is missing
Example
How to fix
Add 〜たり to the second verb as well and close with する.
Why it matters
In Japanese, 〜たり lists actions in pairs (〜たり〜たりする). Used once and followed by another clause ("本を読んだり、映画を見ます"), the second half of the pair is missing. A single 〜たり closed by する (遅れたりする), which gives one example, is correct and not reported.
What it does not flag
Sentences with two or more 〜たり, and a single 〜たり closed by する (遅れたりする), are not reported. Nor is the たり of 一日たりとも, which does not list, nor anything quoted in 「」, nor a たり that follows no word, after an opening bracket or quotation mark (並立助詞(たり)が連続する), which names the particle instead of using it.
